MAIÀ DE MONTCAL

Authentic rural village only 15 min walk from our campsite through a beautiful path in the forest. You can find a local shop, swimming pool or visit the romanic churches

BESALÚ (3 KM)

One of Catalonia top sights to visit is the famous village of Besalú, with its unique medieval jewish quarter, and its romanic bridge spanning the river Fluviá. Dynamic place with all amenities.

BANYOLES (14 KM)

Capital of the Pla de L’Estany. Biggest natural lake in Catalonia, with a wide variety of flora and fauna in its surrounding environment.

FIGUERES (21 KM)

Figueres, capital of the Alt Empordá, and home to the famous Dali Museum. Notable toy museum and weekly covered market on Saturdays.

OLOT (24 KM)

Olot, capital of the Garrotxa, surrounded by volcanoes. Some notable modernist buildings in the town, and well known for it’s industry of religious figurines.

GIRONA (36 KM)

Girona has all the advantages of a big city, with a wide cultural, historic and gastronomic offer. Home of the local university it has a dynamic and young ambience, that is well worth experiencing. 

COSTA BRAVA (45 KM APROX.)

The Costa Brava is a coastal region of Catalonia in northeastern Spain which stretches from the town of Blanes, 60 km  northeast of Barcelona, to the French border. It has more than 200 km of beaches and  idyllic places.
